Fruits of my Labour
Ritual and Ruin is officially on sale!
That announcement might not mean much since I'm not launching to the great fanfare or the slew of events I really wanted, but since Covid-19 is still making a mockery of everyone's social life, I'll take any cause for celebration I can find.
After spending the last 5 years turning down offers to buy my work because it wasn't "ready" in my own eyes, it's refreshing to have received as much early support as I've been blessed to have. I made the outlandish claim that anyone who spends some time with the book will love it and recommend it, and no one has made a liar of me yet.
I'm hoping the ripples of positive reviews and the instances of friends-telling-friends builds up over the next few months and that I'll be able to really celebrate the book with you all sometime next year. But for now, even though the earlier nights are making me really lazy and I wish I could kick back and enjoy the fruits of my labour on the floor in front of my bookshelf, I still have a lot of work to do to make Ritual and ruin the project I dreamt of.
Stay Tuned.
